5 Cards 1 Kit Featuring Simon Says Stamp December Card Kit

Hello Everyone and thank you so much for joining me !! This kit was a lot of fun to play with I really tired to think outside of my usual box!! I think I came up with some fun cards that I hope you will enjoy. If you want a more in-depth look at how these cards came together please check out the video down below. Let's jump right in!!

For the first cards I really wanted to use the 3D decoupage pages, such a fun and quick way to make some cards, I used thin foam tape between every layer and adhered it down to a 4 x 4 inch card base. I had to add some shimmer and shine so I brought in some Nuvo Sliver Crystal Glitter drops and added it to the ornaments hanging from the top of the panel.

For this card I stamped out the snowman and elf image from the stamp set and used N1 and N3 Copic markers to shade the images and then coloured in a background using V12, V15, V17 and BV17 Copic markers to create and ombré, I then splashed on some white acrylic paint and used my white gel pen to add some more stars around the panel. I stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set and added a black boarder around the coloured background. For a touch more shimmer and shine I added some crystal jewels across the panel.

I really wanted to try my hand at using some of the pattern paper so I used a stitched rectangle die and I cut out a panel, then brought in three Distress oxide inks in Stormy Sky, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot and added them around the outside of the panel. I trimmer out the elf, sign and little bird and created a snow hill with some white paper from my stash and adhered everything onto my pattern paper. I used the icicle crackle paste to create depth to the snow and added some in the sky for a snow effect. I stamped down my sentiment in the bottom corner of my snow hill and adhered the panel to an A2 side folding card base.

I cut out a piece of 6 x 6 inch cardstock to create my mini slimline card, I also trimmed out a gold matte to about 1/8th of an inch smaller than my base and a HammerMill panel to about 1/8th of an inch smaller than my gold matte. I stamped the ornament image from the stamp set in Copic safe ink and coloured it with my Copic Markers. I brought in a Gold paint marker and drew in the strings and bows and used a white gel pen to add highlights to the images. I used my mini snips and cut around the top of the panel to create a fun cut out look and adhered the layers together. I also brought in a glitter pen to add some more shimmer and shine to the ornaments.

For this last card I once again really wanted to try out using some pattern paper, I used a stitched rectangle die to cut out two panels of pattern paper and I fussy cut out images from the pattern paper backing card. I adhered my images with a mix of liquid glue and thin 3d foam squares for a little bit of dimension and brought in my icicle crackle paste for some added shimmer on the card.
