A crazy spin on ink blending?!? Taking inked backgrounds further with Sharon Luska

Thank you so much for joining me for this Elegant Snowflake Shaped Christmas Card Tutorial, Let's jump right in.

I started by die cutting two of the largest circle dies I have in my nested circle die set and scored an inch in on the top of one of the circles then adhered the other circle to the folded area, this created my circle base. Next, I cut out the third largest circle and ink blended 6 Distress ink colours on it in Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Mermaid Lagoon and Wilted Violet. For some added interest and texture I splashed on some clean clear water and some perfect pearls.

Next, I used every second circle die to cut the circle panel smaller and smaller then adhered them to the base slightly shifting the colour forward until I was happy with the background. Once all the circles were adhered I also die-cut some butterflies out of vellum and white glitter cardstock and added them on top of the base. For the sentiment, I used a sentiment label sticker in black so that it would be able to hold its own against the very vibrant background and for a final bit of bling I added some Pearls around the card for some extra shimmer and shine. I LOVE how this card turned out and hope you will give it a try!!
