Clean and Simple Hot Foil Christmas A2 Card Tutorial | 12 weeks of Christmas Series Week 1


Thank you so much for joining me for this Clean and Simple Hot Foil Christmas A2 Card Tutorial | 12 weeks of Christmas Series Week 1, Let's jump right in.


I started with an A2 base, and two pieces of Hammermill cardstock. I used one piece with the Monoline Stars hot foil plate and some Matte gold foil and the other piece with the Monoline Stars embossing folder to create my two layers for this card. I used the postage edge dies and cut down both layers creating a window for my sentiment to sit in.


Next, I die-cut some poinsettias out of red cardstock, leaves out of green cardstock and the centres out of gold cardstock for a fun accent around the sentiment and add a pop of colour. For the sentiment, I cut the main word out of matte gold cardstock and a sub-sentiment label banner out of white cardstock, then stamped on it with Lumberjack Plaid ink for a matching red look. For a finishing touch, I added some clear glitter on the poinsettias, for added shimmer and shine and called this card done.
