Hello everyone and thank you so much for joining me!! I have these three Mini Slimline cards to share with you today featuring all the new Distress ink colours, So let's jump right in!!
To start as usual I like to cut down my card stock, for Mini Slimline cards I am loving the 6" x 6" design and scored at 3", making the slimline base 3" x 6". I also cut out three panels from Bristol Smooth Cardstock to be 1/8th of an inch smaller than my base so I could have a small white border around my blended panels.
I used six different Oxide colours the first panel is Kitsch Flamingo, Salvaged Patina and Speckled Egg, the second is Kitsch Flamingo, Salvaged Patina and Rustic Wilderness, and the third is Kitsch Flamingo, Spiced Marmalade (which isn't new) and Crackling Campfire. I used a domed blending foam and worked between the colours until I was happy with the blends. I then foiled and die cut out my Happy birthday sentiments using the SpellBinders elegant occasions sentiments and added some fun foam behind them for some more dimension.
I then adhered all the layers together with my favourite liquid glue Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive and added a bunch of clear gems to help fill in the leftover space.
