Distress Oxide Ink Be The Sunshine Slimline Card

Hello everyone and thank you so much for joining me !! I have this bright and simple Distress oxide ink Rainbow Slim line Card to share with you today, so let's jump right in.

To start as always I like to cut down my cardstock so I know what I am working with, I am using Neenah Desert Storm, I cut my base to 7 inches by 8.5 inches and score it at 3.5 making my base 3.5 by 8.5 inches. I also cut a panel to 3.5 by 8.5 inches but I will be trimming that down later to add a black shimmer matte behind it. Then using a sunburst stamp from Simon Says Stamps Be the Sunshine stamp set I stamped it out repeatedly in 7 different Distress Oxide Colours creating my rainbow stamping. The Colours I used were Kitsch Flamingo, Carver Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Salvaged Patina, Mermaid Lagoon and Wilted Violet, I did use my Misti for this part so I could double stamp and make sure the stamp was lined up properly.

I used a sentiment from the same stamp set and did a little creative stamping as I cannot bring myself to cut my stamps. Then I trimmed off about a 1/4 inch off the top and bottom on my panel and cut a black matte to tie in the black sentiment and break up the panel and base since they are the same colour. I adhered my layers together and added a few sequins on top for some added shine.
