DIY How to Make Vibrant Mica Sprayed Christmas Cards for Week 10 of the 12 Weeks of Christmas Series


Thank you so much for joining me for this DIY How to Make Vibrant Mica Sprayed Christmas Cards for Week 10 of the 12 Weeks of Christmas Series, Let's jump right in.


 When I made card sets, I like to treat them assembly style. Every step I need to I will do with every card until they are all finished. So I started by cutting down my cardstock, I used A2-sized bases then cut the black matte down to be 1/8th of an inch smaller and my Canson Watercolour panel down to be 1/4 of an inch smaller than the base.


I used an Oxide and Mica spray for each coloured panel, trying to create a bit of white space in the centre. Once all the panels were dry I ran them through my die-cutting machine with the Filagree Snowflakes embossined folder and used a little bit of white wax to help the snowflakes stand up against the backgroud. For a focal image I used the Aurora and Sophie snowflake dies cut out of white glitter cardstock that I adhered over top of the edge of my sentiment strips to make them feel like they were apart of the card design.


Once all the layers where adhered, I brought in some white pearls and used them to embelish the sentiment a bit more. I love how these cards came together and I hope you enjoyed this quick look at this set!!
