Fun and Whimsical Flying Love Gnome A2 Card Tutorial


Thank you so much for joining me for this Fun and Whimsical Flying Love Gnome A2 Card Tutorial, Let's jump right in.


I started by trimming down my layers, I used an A2 base, a black matte cut to 1/8th of an inch smaller than the base, and a Hammermill panel cut to 1/4 smaller than the base. I used Tumbled glass oxide ink to create a cloud look on the background panel to help it look like my gnome is flying. I also ran the panel through a Tufted embossing folder to add some more texture.


Next, I cut out all the die-cut pieces I would need to create my gnome and the balloons carrying him away. I used both Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick to colour in the balloon hearts, and the gnomes hat, gloves, and shoes. For his beard and nose, I used Copic markers N1, N3, and N5 for his beard and E21 for the nose. I brought in a white gel pen to add some highlights across my elements and added dash lines on my sentiment that I had heat embossed and cut out.


All that's left is to adhere all the layers and add a couple of pearls to finish this card off. I made this as an anniversary card for my husband as we've been married four years on September first and he is always so happy when I make him something that he doesn't care about colours or if it has bling or not. I really like how this turned out and hope you enjoyed it as well!!
