How to Create a Stunning 5x7 Card with Vibrant Alcohol Ink and Wildflowers: A Step-by-Step Tutorial

Thank you so much for joining me for this How to Create Stunning Spring Alcohol Ink A2 Cards in Minutes, Let's jump right in.


I like to start by cutting down my cardstock, I used a 5x7 sized base then cut the black matte down to be 1/8th of an inch smaller and my Yupo paper panel down to be 1/4 of an inch smaller than the base. Then I blended on five colours of Alcohol ink in Indigo, Opulent, Raspberry, Villainous and Gilded, I worked between the colours, blending solution and air blower until I was happy with how the blend looked.


Next, I die-cut out five wildflowers, four from black glitter cardstock and one out of gold glitter cardstock. I layered them in a bouquet on the lower left corner of the inked panel and adhered them down. I added some white and gold twine around the panel adhering it with double sided tape on the back of the panel and used thin foam tape to add dimension to the panel. Once all my layers were adhered I created a black wax seal over the twine and flowers and added a touch of gold to help the design stand out.


For my sentiment I added a label sticker beside the wax seal and for a final touch I added some gold pearls around the design. I love how this card turned out though there is everything including the kitchen sink on this card !! I hope you enjoyed how this card came together.
