How to Create a Stunning Purple and Silver Perspective Moth Blended 5x7 Card: Step-by-Step Tutorial


Thank you so much for joining me for this How to Create a Stunning Purple and Silver Perspective Moth Blended 5x7 Card: Step-by-Step Tutorial, Let's jump right in.


I like to start by cutting down my cardstock, I used a 5x7 base then cut the silver matte down to be 1/8th of an inch smaller and my Hammermill paper panel down to be 1/4 of an inch smaller than the base. Then I blended on four colours of Distress Oxide ink in Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet, Dusty Concord and Villanious Potion, I worked between the colours until I was happy with how the blend looked.


Next, I die-cut the Moth out of the same cardstock I used for the silver matte and positioned it where I wanted it so I could see where to place my sentiment. I white heat embossed the sentiment in the lower right corner so that it could stand out on its own. Once all the layers were adhered with liquid glue or foam tape, I splattered on some perfect pearls for some added shimmer and shine.


For a final bit of bling, I also brought in some matte silver pearls to finish off the card. I love how this came together and hope you enjoyed it as well!!
