"How to Create a Stunning Tri-Fold Northern Lights A2 Cards: Step-by-Step Tutorial"


Thank you so much for joining me for this "How to Create a Stunning Tri-Fold Northern Lights A2 Cards: Step-by-Step Tutorial", Let's jump right in.


I started by die-cutting both layers of trees for the tri-fold, I left enough cardstock for a hinge on the side of each set of trees so they would open easily... please watch the video to see how I created them because honestly, I am not sure I can explain it here. Then I used three colours of Distress Oxide ink to create a northern light background for my trees, I used Salvage patina, Wilted Violet, and Black Soot.

I added a ton of stars on top of the background panel and white heat embossed my sentiment in the lower right corner where the trees would cover it when they were closed. Once the hinges were adhered to the blended panel I adhered another layer of cardstock to give the card more stability and a clean place to write a message. I LOVE how this card came together and I hope you will give it a try.
