How to Create a Stunning Vibrant Black and Rainbow Wildflower A2 Card: Step-by-Step Tutorial

I started with two A2-sized Black card bases then trimmed down two black card panels to about 1/4 of an inch smaller than the bases I ran those panels through my die-cutting machine with a 3D embossing folder for added texture. Next, I ink blended five colours of Distress Oxide ink in Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Peacock feathers, and Wilted Violet onto scraps of Hammermill cardstock, then splattered them with some perfect pearls for added interest and cut out five of the vault wildflowers twice to create two card designs.


For the sentiments I used a Spellbinders press plate and gold hot foiled them then used a matching die to trim the sentiments out into lables. Now all I needed to do was to adhere the layers together I used a mix of liquid glue, foam tape, and foam squares. For a final touch, I added some pearls to either side of the sentiment to make them look as though they were attached that way. I love how these cards came together and I hope you enjoyed them as well.
