I started by trimming down my cardstock, I used an A2 base, which is 5 1/2 by 4 1/4, and trimmed my gold cardstock matte to be 1/8th of an inch smaller than the base, and my white panel to be 1/4 of an inch smaller than my A2 base, allowing there to be a thin border on each layer. As I am making two cards, I did everything twice !!
Next, I cut out all the candle layers from white cardstock and the dish and candle flame from gold cardstock. I used liquid glue to adhere all the layers so that I had a few seconds to slide my layers into place until I was happy. After everything is built I gold heat embossed my sentiment and adhered the the candle and tray on top. I layered up my cardstock on the base and added a few pearls to finish off the card. I am pretty happy with how these cards turned out and I hope you enjoyed them as well!!
