How to Create a Whimsical and Beautiful Penpal Pocket: Step-by-Step Tutorial


Thank you so much for joining me for this How to Create a Whimsical and Beautiful Penpal Pocket: Step-by-Step Tutorial, Let's jump right in.


I started by cutting down a piece of cardstock to 10x7 inches and then scored at the 2.5 inch mark giving me a folio with two flaps. Next, I cut down a bunch of stunning Craft o Clock pattern paper to fit on all the flaps, I also went around every element with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink to give it a more vintage look and feel.


I added a velum pocket then decorated the folio with some cut-apart's from the same pattern paper set and a couple doily's. Next, I worked on the 5x7 Envelope I used all the same elements to decorate it but I did also bring in an alphabet die set to add my penpals name in some glitter cardstock and some tea stained paper for her address.

Once everything was done I added a few fun goodies to the vellum pocket along with the letter I wrote to Izabel, I am pretty happy with how this project turned out and I hope you will also give it a try if you enjoy sending fun goodies to your penpals.
