How to Create Your Own Stunning Silhouette Witch and Glitter Moon A2 Card for Spooktember!

I started by trimming down my cardstock, I used an A2 base, which is 5 1/2 by 4 1/4, and trimmed my black cardstock matte to be 1/8th of an inch smaller than the base, and my Hammermill panel to be 1/4 of an inch smaller than my A2 base. When I make a set of cards I like to do each step for every card like an assembly line. I used a mix of Distress ink mini colours, I have a full list of which colours I used in the supplies list and broken down in the video.


I die-cut the witch and broom silhouette out of black cardstock and the moon out of watercolour for the base and hammermill for the detail layer. Next, I brought in the two colours of distress ink minis and used the lightest colour on the moon base and the darkest colour on the hammermill panel, I used a little of both colours on the detail layer of the moon and then splashed on some water to all three for added texture and interest.


Once the detail layer of the moon was dry I covered it in a spray adhesive and added some distress rock candy glitter over top, I tapped off the excess and laid out my element so I could stamp the sentiment onto the panel. All that's left now is to adhere all the layers, I used liquid glue for this so I had a little wiggle time if needed. I did add a few star embellishments and went in with my white gel pen to add rim lighting and highlights to the broom and witch and called these cards done. I LOVE how they turned out and I hope you will give them a try.
