How to Make a Vibrant Artsy Leaves Thanksgiving 5x7 Card: A Complete Tutorial

I started by creating my 5x7 base, black matte and Two-toned woodgrain cardstock I used for the panel, the panel and matte are about 1/8th of an inch smaller than the layer they go on top of. For the leaves, I used scraps of watercolour cardstock and placed them in my Splat box to contain the spray. For added movement, I misted the cardstock with some water and then used several sprays in vibrant fall colours Fossilized Amber, Flickering Candle, Ripe persimmon, Jack-o-lantern, Lumber Jack Plaid, Tart Cranberry, Cocktail Party, Rustic Wilderness, Merry Mint, Villainous Potion, and Fortune teller.

Once all the watercolour pieces were dry I used five of the leaves from the Artsy Leaves die set, and cut the centre pieces out of black cardstock to add on top for a fun glittery look. After laying out all the leaves on the panel I used both liquid glue and thin 3D foam squares to adhere them. For the sentiment, I die-cut a monochromatic thanks and white heat embossed a sub-sentiment on black cardstock. Once everything was adhered to the card panel and the sentiment added I used a few white pearls to finish off the card design and called this card done.
