Hello everyone and thank you for joining me for such a special card!! Today is my 2nd wedding anniversary and this is the card I made for my husband so let's jump right in!
I am making an A2 sized card I trimmed down a piece of Soft Navy cardstock and a piece of gold foiled cardstock to act as my panel. I used a Love You background stamp on my Navy panel for some added texture in the background. Next I cut out Simon Says Stamps Etched Laurel leaves in the same Soft Navy cardstock, Gold foil cardstock and pearl vellum leaving me with 6 leaves, one of which I will adhere inside the card base.
I brought out my Glimmer hot foil machine to create my sentiment with gold foil and cut it out with a cordinating die. I then started to adhere my layers to the card panel, using a mixture of Bearly art glue and Thin 3D foam squares for some added dimension, I also brough in some white thread just to add a little something extra behind my sentiment. Once everything was adhered I also had to add a couple pearls to finish off the card.
