Hello and thank you so much for joining me for this really pretty pink and gold floral card, let's jump right into making it.
I used the Pink Fresh Double Chevron stencil to create the background, I used Spun sugar distress oxide ink on the first stencil and Versamark ink on the second stencil then added Ranger's gold embossing powder on top and heat set it. I trimmed off the edges making the background 3.5 x5.5 inches and gave it a gold matte that I trimmed to 4 x 5.5 inches.
I then stamped out the florals and leaves from the Simon Says Stamp Sweet Friends stamp set in Versamark ink on some Distress Watercolour cardstock and embossed them in Rangers super fine white embossing powder. I used two Distress mini cubes in Bundled sage and Spun Sugar to watercolour my images, working the bulk of the colour in shadow areas and pulling the colour out into the lighter areas. I then die cut my images out with the coordinating dies and cut out my sentiment with the same gold matte cardstock and some Heavy weight Vellum for the shadow of the word and started adhering all my layers together.
Once everything was adhered I added some Glitter pen to the flowers and brought in some Arctic Breeze Pearls to finish off the card and add some extra sparkle.
