Quick and Simple Ink Blended Easter Teacup A2 Card Tutorial

Writer's picture: CiaraCiara

Thank you so much for joining me for this How to Create a Stunning Easter Teacup A2 Card with Quick and Simple Ink Blending, Let's jump right in.

I like to start by cutting down my cardstock, I used an A2-sized base then cut the black matte down to be 1/8th of an inch smaller and my Hammermill panel down to be 1/4 of an inch smaller than the base. Next, I used the Waffle flower spotlight circle stencil and three Distress Oxide inks in Spun Sugar, Scattered Straw, and Shabby Shutters to create the background colour, I also splashed on some perfect pearls for added interest.

I used my Sidekick to cut three cups, a saucer, and the steam from the papercut cafe die set and used three colours of Distress Oxide ink to colour the base two layers of the cups in Victorian Velvet, Shaded Lilac and Speckled Egg, for the saucer I used Lost Shadow Oixde ink, Then, I used white glitter cardstock for the highlight for added shimmer and shine.

After adhering the cups with thin foam squares to the card panel I stamped a sentiment just below the circle of colour and added a bunch of sequins to fill in some space and add more interest to the background. I love how this came together and think it would work great for any tea or coffee lover, you could easily change out the sentiment and turn it into any other card you might like.
