Simple yet Whimsical Fluttering Butterfly Junk Journal Page Tutorial

Thank you so much for joining me for this I made my first Fun Double Page Window Junk Journal Design Tutorial, Let's jump right in.

I started by ink blending three colours of Distress Oxide ink on the paper bag in my junk journal, I used Victorian Velvet, Tumbled Glass and Bundled Sage. Then I crumpled up the bag for some added texture and flicked on some perfect petals for extra shimmer and shine.

Next, I cut out the Butterflies I wanted from the Welcome Home Collectables Paper pad and grabbed some more butterflies from the laser cut elements by 49th and Market. Once I laid them out I started to adhere the butterflies flying up the page and saved three that I wanted to have hanging off the page with some acetate. I felt like I should add some more butterflies so I used the flickering butterflies die from Simon Says Stamp and cut them out of some pearlescent vellum to add some more subtle shimmer.

I adhered the Acetate to the butterflies and the bag with some double sided tape making sure it was on the top of the paper bags pocket so that I could still put something in the pocket later. I LOVE how this page came together even if some things aren't straight. I even added a sentiment that felt very fitting while making this page. I am having a blast playing in my Junk Journal.
