Thank you guys so much for stopping by to check out this Slimline Birthday Card Collab I did with Annalisa Gibson!! I think it turned out pretty great so let's jump right in!!
To start I always cut down my cardstock so I know what I am working with, for the base it's 7 x 8.5 inches scored at 3.5 to make our slimline card. The black matte and white panel were cut 1/8th of an inch smaller than the base and each other, making the white panel the smallest and able to layer on top of the others with a bit of their cardstock showing.
I then used my anti-static bag over the front of the panel and proceeded to stamp the solid balloon stamp all over the front of the panel in Versamark ink and coated that with Judikins Iridescent Sparkle Embossing Powder and heat set it until smooth and melted.
Once the panel had cooled down I then blended on 3 Distress Oxide inks in the colours Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet and Dusty Concord, creating an ombre look between each colour. I also added splashed of each Distress Oxide colour onto the background for a bit more texture. After the ink had dried I used a Microfiber cloth and buffed off any leftover ink sitting on top of the Embossed balloons.
I placed the panel into a stamping platform and stamped down the happy birthday a few times with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink, I attached the matte and the panel down to the card base and added tons of Pink Fresh studios jewels across the front of the panel. I also used Dusty Concord Distress Oxide ink to stamp the large Birthday sentiment on the inside of the card base.
