Stunning Purple, White and Silver Etched Leaves A2 Card Tutorial


Thank you for joining me for this Stunning Purple, White and Silver Etched Leaves A2 Card Tutorial. Let's jump right in.


I trimmed down my silver matte to be 1/8th of an inch smaller than my A2 base and a piece of Hammermill cardstock to be 1/4 of an inch smaller than my Base. I don't have much coloured cardstock in my stash so I blended on Villainous Potion Distress Oxide ink to create a deep purple panel for the background of my card. I also blended the same colour on another piece of Hammermill cardstock so I could die-cut the Laurel Leaves out of it and have it match the background.


Once my Inked panel was dry I clear embossed the Bold string dots onto it fir some added interest in the background and Die-cut out 3 sets of the Laurel leaves in white, silver and ink blended panel to add on top ad the focal image. I arranged the leaves mostly to the left hand side and adhered them down with some liquid glue.


I added a sentiment strip and a cute bow for a bit more interest then I had to add some Silver satin pearls for a little more shimmer and shine in the design. I am pretty happy with how this card turned out and encourage you to recreate it in any colour way you love!!
