Teal and Silver Snowflake Spinner A2 Christmas Card Tutorial | Christmas in July series

Thank you so much for joining me for this Teal and Silver Snowflake Spinner A2 Christmas Card Tutorial, Let's jump right in.

I started by trimming down the silver matte and pattern paper panel to be 1/4 of an inch smaller than the layer below to leave a nice border all around. Next, I layered the base, matte and panel where I wanted them to be and used a piece of low tack tape to keep them where I needed them and ran them all through my die-cutting machine with a circle die larger than the snowflake I plan to have spin in the middle of the card. I ran the layers through my die-cutting machine until each layer was cut nicely.

Next, I die-cut two snowflakes out of the same silver cardstock I used for the matte and brought back in the circle die I used earlier and a larger one to create a circle frame to give the card a more finished look. I adhered the frame to the pattern paper panel and adhered the panel to the matte. Now we need to create the spinning element, I used a bit of double-sided tape and liquid glue to adhere some threat between the two snowflakes, then I adhered the thread to the card base making sure the snowflake was suspended in the centre of the circle. Next, I adhered the other layers on top and made sure the circles all lined up so the snowflake with be able to spin freely without hitting anything.

For a final touch, I added the pattern paper circle back on the inside of the card base and used some Satin Silver pearls for a little added shimmer and shine. For the sentiment I silver heat embossed Merry Christmas on a scrap of the base cardstock and cut that out with a small label die and adhered it to the card with some thin 3D foam squares. I LOVE how this card turned out !!
