Vibrant Ink Blended Sun Set Silhouette Birds 5x7 Card Tutorial

Thank you for joining me for this Vibrant Ink Blended Sun Set Silhouette Birds 5x7 Card Tutorial. Let's jump right in.

I started by creating my 5x7 card base, Black matte and Hammermill panel, each layer about 1/8th of an inch smaller than the last. Next, I blended on my HammerMill panel with five colours of Distress Oxide ink in Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry, Abandoned Coral, Carved Pumpkin and Squeezed Lemonade.

I cut the branches out of the same black cardstock I used for my matte, and used a black deco sheet adhered to a piece of Hammermill cardstock to die-cut out the Silhouette Birds so they would stand out. For some added interest in the background I blended on some clouds with Unicorn white pigment ink and let them dry before adhering the branches and birds. I used my Misti to stamp my sentiment on the top left corner then adhered all the layers together and added a few sequins to finish off the design. I love how vibrant and fun this card turned out.
