Whimsical Alcohol Ink Autumn Leaves A2 Card Tutorial

Thank you for joining me for this Vibrant Alcohol Inked Brushstroke Butterflies A2 Card Tutorial. Let's jump right in.

I like to keep my A2 card bases pre-made, so they are always ready to go. Then I ran some hammer mill cardstock for the base layer and Yupo with the top layer through my die-cutting with the lacy layers dies to create a pretty background for my leaves. I used two colours of Alcohol ink on the Yupo panel in Villanious and Tranquil Pearl inks working between them and some blending solution until I was happy with how the colours looked.

Then I white sparkle heat embossed three leaves out of the Autumn Blueprint on vellum and fussy cut them out to sit on top of the alcohol-inked panel but still be able to see the colours through the leaves. I tucked a sentiment strip in beside the leaves for a subtle sentiment. I adhered my layers with a mix of liquid glue and foam tape for a little dimension.

For some added interest I used some wax and made a wax seal to go over the leaves and added a couple of sequins for some added shimmer and shine. I love how this card turned out, Sadly the pictures really don't do this card justice.
