Whimsical Pastel Tea Cup Slimline Card Tutorial

Thank you so much for joining me for this Whimsical Pastel Tea Cup Slimline Card Tutorial, Let's jump right in.

I started by creating my slimline card base but cutting 4 inchs off of a standard piece of cardstock leaving me with a 7 x 8.5 inch piece of cardstock that I scored at 3.5 inches creating a 3.5 inch by 8.5 card base. Next I cut out my panels with the Waffle Flower Slim Lacy Layers dies. For the focal images on this card I used the Papercut Cafe dies and cut all 5 cups out with holographic cardstock for the base layer then the next two layers I cut out in a few different Simon Says stamp cardstocks in Cotton Candy, Lemon Chiffon, Mint, Audrey Blue and Lavendar, for the sausers I used Smoke and Slate cardstock and Desert storm for the tea in the cups.

I used pinch bowls to keep all the layers for each cup together and art glitter glue to adhere them, for the smallest pieces I also brough in my reverse tweezers. Once the cups were adhered I used a white gel pen to add some milk on top of the tea in the cup and die cut out the steam with vellum as the base layer and pearlescent vellum for the detail layer I used my Xyron sticker maker to adhere the vellum. All thats left is to adhere everything to the base. I did add some big mama foam tape to the panel for some extra dimesion and called this card done. I am in LOVE with how it turned out!!
