Thank you so much for joining me for this Elegant Snowflake Shaped Christmas Card Tutorial, Let's jump right in.
I started with a base of cream cardstock just to be different, then I die-cut out the base layer of the snowflakes from the Spellbinders Delicate Snowflake dies from Lavender. I used some silver glitter cardstock for the Detail layer and adhered the two layers together. I needed nine snowflakes to fill the background of my card base but I knew there would be some large gaps between the snowflakes.
I used thin 3D foam squares in the centre of each snowflake to give it a bit more dimension. For the sentiment, I cut it out of the same lavender cardstock and added a little Seedless Preserves Oxide ink on top to help it stand out against the background, I also stamped the sub-sentiment in the same ink. To fill the extra space left over between the snowflakes I brought in some beautiful off-white pearls and scattered them across the open areas. I am pretty happy with how this card turned out and would love to hear your thoughts on it!!
