Thank you so much for joining me for this Whimsical White and Gold Christmas Slimline Card Tutorial, Let's jump right in.
I started by creating my slimline card base I like to make mine 7 by 8.5 inches and scored at the 3.5 inches mark giving me a 8.5 by 3.5-inch card base. Next, I die-cut the slim lacy layers dies to act as a panel behind my die-cut leaves. I die-cut the 5 leaf fragment dies out of some glitter cardstock and lined them up on my card panel. I used 3d foam squares to give them a little bit of dimension.
I really wanted this to be a white and gold card so for the sentiment I cut out this beautiful Christmas word die 4 times and layered them up, then I used a finger dauber to add a little gold ink to the bottom portion of the sentiment to help it stand out against those gold leaves. For the word Merry, I stamped it with the same gold ink, cut it out with a small label die, and adhered it on top of the word Christmas. After I added the sentiment onto the lower right corner I brought in some gold matte pearls to add some added shimmer and shine across the card panel and called this card done. I was a bit unsure about this card design at first but I think it works !! I would love to hear your thoughts on how it came together!!
